The moon over Lake Tahoe. It was an experiment comparing my friend's Canon L lens to my "cheap" Canon lens of similar magnification & depth on my Rebel. OMG does my lens suck. Before this I just thought I was bad at focusing.

I know what you mean about the lenes we use. Same as you I thought it was bad focusing too.
It's has they say you get what you pay for. But at the end of the day how many times will you want to shoot the moon. In normal photography the lens would not show any problems. Let's face it you are asking a lot to get a perfect moon shot. And this is as great shot anyway.
